I just beat From the Abyss today. It's kind of an unpolished action RPG similar in style to Lunar Knights. Its story line is nonexistent like Etrian Odyssey but at least it's engaging enough to make me want to finish it. It's very short too with 8 dungeons with 3 stages each. There is no side quests or anything worth doing after beating the game.

One thing that made me chuckle is that every time the guard of the dungeon and the shopkeeper would greet the main character with "Oh.. it's you." when the guy is supposedly the great hero banishing evil from the kingdom.

Mmmm what's new?

I'm back in NYC for the summer. My hatred for school continues to grow. I don't think I'll be doing this much longer. Last term I pretty much missed all the classes and only showed up for exams. It worked out much better than only showing up for class but not exams which I did last year. Hey, if I can get better grades than the rest of those idiots without even going to class then what incentive do I have to actually show up?

After three road tests, I finally got my driver's license. Driving is a bit overrated I think. I'm always afraid I'll do something stupid like running someone over or running into a wall or forgetting to lock the car when I leave. So far I've been driving to work, driving to Costco, driving to Flushing. No accidents/tickets so far and hopefully I can keep it that way.

Oh work? Yeah I got a part time job teaching SAT math at one of those Chinese cram schools. It's only three hours a day but it pays pretty good, plus it's all in cash like most Asian jobs so there's no tax. I hate public speaking so it's kinda awful for me. *Cross out teaching as a full time job*

Mmm. School's been busy. Classes are okay but the assignments suck.

Fiddled with my computer a lot. Now it's quiet and has a big hard drive. My hard drive is bigger than yours. lolol.

Bought a DS and castlevania. Already beat it and in the process of getting 100%. Recommend some good games to me.

My wow subscription ran out. I don't think I'll be playing it anymore, not for a while anyway.

Impaction is deader than Muaji lolage. I don't even know what happened. I'm on Muaji for woe sometimes now.

I should take school more seriously but I can't. I think it's just my personality. I'm a noodle. You like me and you know it.

In other news, I took the GRE last Friday. Got an OK score. Haven't told my parents about it though 'cause I know they'd be like, "What? Not perfect/near perfect score?" And guess what? Wei told her parents about my score today and they had that exact response. -_- I have two pairs of Asian parents! >.<;;;

Anyways, it will be grad school apps apps apps for 2 months, then freeeeeeedom!

ROFL. So yea.. A GM named Arngrim was quitting RO and held a good-bye "chaos" event tonight. There were about 300 people there. He said that as a treat he'll give an upgrade to any one equipment for all participating players. So everyone proceeded to deal him our equipments. This went on for like an hour 'cause we had to deal him one by one. See the chaos in the screeny. Yup.. so when that's all done. He said ha you all got tricked, only the winner of the event will get his equipment back. xD

Anyways.. the good part of the event was till then. It was followed by some server crashes and I guess I missed parts of the instructions. I got my equipment back at the end though... after 5 hours. Another night wasted...

Saw a GM fight in PVP just now. o.o;

There were 5-6 archers and several close range types hitting him. o.o You can't even see them anymore 'cause so many damage numbers come out. This went on for like 15 mins before he's dead. lol meat shield build.
